Blaze Grill Cleaning

Stainless steel grill grate are good investment. Gas grills are great for barbequing and outdoor cooking. These are durable, long lasting and easy to clean. Regular cleaning helps retaining its newness and improves its performance. Ideally one should clean the grills on a regular basis. This way food residues, grease and glunk don’t gather at the grills.

When you clean your grill it is very important to avoid the common cleaning mistakes. The cleaning mistakes can affects performance and give rise to safety issues. We have listed a few common mistakes that we make while cleaning barbecue grills.

Cleaning the grill with harsh chemical cleaners isn’t normally advised. Not only these elements are abrasive, but these would leave residue which will then get mixed with the food causing health hazards. Instead, you can use a solution of dishwasher liquid to soak the grill grates.

It is a good idea to clean each and every part of the grill. But if you aren’t absolutely confident to be able to reattach the parts, avoid dismantling. Especially, if you have professional grill like a Blaze Grill, which has many parts to perform specialized grilling functions, reassembling all the parts perfectly can be really challenging. If you want a thorough cleaning stainless steel grill, seek professional help for the job.

We are tempted to give the grill a good rub with a hard brush hoping that it would remove all the dirt from it. But using a hard brush would cause more harm than good. A wipe down with a damp cloth for the exterior and with a non-metallic abrasive scrubbing pad for the interior is usually good for cleaning.

The idea to cover the entire grill with aluminum foil during cleaning may help in trapping the heat better but it can also lead to damages like –melting or pain failure and can even increase the risk of fire accident.
